Sugars Skulls for Babies?

sugar-skull onsieA few weeks ago there was a contest on Skull-A-Day in which you could win clothing from Baby Bones Clothing.  The contest and clothing were both a big hit with the Skull-A-Day audience, but it did give us a bit of pause here at Dead Deco.

We wonder if kids clothing, like the onesie shown here, is appropriate for kids to wear?

Most adults today never wore a skull when they were a kid, unless it was on a pirate costume.  However, we live in an age of wide spread popularity and acceptance of the human skull as adornment.  Do you see this being endemic of a shift in the collective consciousness?

Is the explanation of death as prevalently shared with children now as the adornment of death’s symbol?
